First video is me playing the drums to the beat that I want to give that going into battle vibe and to keep the pace of the promo going. I recorded this with Will and Charlotte as we all need drum sounds. We used Logic Pro to record the sounds and each had a go at playing the drums while the others made sure the sound was in the green and didn't peak or go too loud so that the audio messed up. We did multiple takes so that we could layer different beat over others. |

In this video there are quite a lot of us in the booth, Charlotte in this video does a singular seagull sound, we also have a recording of all of us trying it so that we can get an effect of multiple seagulls. This effect was because of the 'beach' vibe the museum wanted that being because Caesar landed on a beach and so seagulls were though to be a good addition. We also used Logic Pro to record this. |

This is the video of all of us recording multiple seagulls, this was really fun to record but I think the end effect was really good. Recorded on Logic Pro. |

All I have to do on Audition is bring up the yellow line (volume) on Track 1 which contains the voiceover/narration. And then bring down the volume line on all the others while still balancing them and make sure they are all heard. I might get someone else to listen to the finished thing before I export it so that I know people with 'fresh ears' who haven't heard it, think it sounds good. As the volume line on Track 1 is quite high already, I could use a audio enhancer to push it up although this could result in 'hiss' because bringing the speech up also brings the background noise up which results in 'hiss' however if I balance it well, it should be fine. |
As you can see in the image, the track is exported at 32 bit which is very high quality, the wave is also uncompressed which is, again, good quality because nothing is reduced or changed, it is a pure sound. The sound is also stereo which is good because it gives the audience a clearer sound which creates more impact and a better quality of the sound. If heard through speakers or headphones the sound will transmit through both speakers unlike a mono sound wave used in mp3 files. |
